New Legendary Power: Attacks will slay enemies with less than (5-10%) health.New Legendary Power: Pylon effects last twice as long.We hope to see some interesting new theorycrafting and tactics out of 2.6.6 and canвЂ™t wait to see what the community does with this new loot! We also experimented with making some of the craftable sets from Haedrig more appealing for fresh level 70вЂ™s or players looking to maximize their farming runs. This means fewer class-specific new additions, but more additions that everyone has an opportunity to play with.

Developer Note: There are additional specific notes below, but broadly for 2.6.6, we wanted to introduce a handful of new item powers targeted at two audiences: (1) certain classes with long-standing requests for balance/quality of life adjustments and (2) the broader player base for experimenting with KanaiвЂ™s Cube.

The game as it exists now seems like it can handle the power of an all-runes Wrath of the Berserker, and so Mortick is getting tested out again - which shows just how serious the gameвЂ™s power creep is.Д«ut that isnвЂ™t all. These bracers were tested back in patch 2.2.0 but left out of that patch for being too powerful. They give the Barbarian ability Wrath of the Berserker the benefit of every rune, which is a pretty powerful buff. I also really have to highlight MortickвЂ™s Brace, a pair of bracers weвЂ™ve seen on the PTR before. A lot of players apparently really liked Season 17, and while you could theoretically equip the Legacy of Nightmares two-piece set to get it back, putting the power on a gem like this means that players who want to keep experimenting donвЂ™t lose a whole two slots to the LoN set to do so. It buffs your damage and survivability for every non-set Legendary piece you have and doubles the benefit when youвЂ™re at Rank 25 on the gem.

The Legacy of Dreams Legendary gem is one of the more interesting additions. But the Season of the Triune will also come with a bunch of powerful new gear: there are a variety of new Legendary powers, new items, and a new gem that lets you keep playing like itвЂ™s Season 17. With the release of the patch 2.6.6 PTR for Diablo 3, we didnвЂ™t just find out about the upcoming Season 18 theme, although we certainly did that too and itвЂ™s pretty cool.
